On July 29, the China ∞§Veterinary Medicine <$Association held a symposium f®₽♠or the 2013 provincial Veterinary medi≤εcine (animal protection) As≠☆sociation in Jinan, Shandong Province, to discus∏→s how to further play the role of industry asso±‍ Ωciations, strengthen the integrity and self-d ÷εεiscipline of veterinary drugs, carry ouש÷t science popularization activ"π↕÷ities for safe drug use in aquaculture, and promo<αε€te the healthy develop✘♥ment of the aquaculture industry. Y≈←u Kangzhen, Vice Miniβ​ster of Agriculture and President¶‍δ® of China Veterinary Medicine Association₩×←≤, attended the meeting and made an  ​÷←important speech.

Yu Kangzhen pointed out →¶that the quality of veterinaryλ§₽♠ drugs is related to the safety of  'λbreeding, the effectiveness of‌α☆☆ disease prevention and control and the safety of♠→≈£ animal products, ensuring the sa✔ ™±fety and effectiveness of veterinary drugs, quali φ∞ty control, and establishing a good order of♥♣$ the veterinary drug market is the common res>₩±γponsibility of the government and ♥εindustry associations. In recent years, •©centering on the goal of "two efforts toφ≤¥ ensure", the Ministry has carrieβ£♥d out veterinary drug safe←≤±ty supervision, strengthened the f♠♣ollow-up supervision of veterinary drug"∏ GMP, and fully implemeα →​nted the GSP system of veterinδ₩©§ary drugs. StrengtheΩ→≈λning the supervision and" ★ sampling of veterinaryπ≈×γ drugs, increasing the inves♥↑♠tigation and punishment of illegal cases, ↑​☆has achieved positive results, an ÷d the quality of veteri£₽≈nary drugs has been significantly×✔ improved.

Yu Kangzhen stressed that the curre☆<∏nt quality of veterinary dε★&×rugs and problems existing in the veterinary d≤'rug industry have caused c♦ oncern in society, and we should pay great at≤σβλtention to them. Yu Kangzhen required ₩♦♦that in the next step, the assoc↑&©₽iation should carry out targeted research ac">®tivities on issues with high social atte &ntion, large risks and hiddφ¥‍en dangers, and major imp &‍acts, find and analy  ♣→ze problems, and put forward tar☆∏→ geted and operable sugg↓₩γestions to the competent authorities of the indγ<ustry. The association should stβ∞ rengthen the publicity of animal breeding kασnowledge and the veter↑β'inary drug industry, strengthen the publi‌®±city and popularization of scientific br•↑₩&eeding and safe drug use knoα✔×wledge, further enhance the soci​​al awareness of the veterinary drug i÷αndustry, and improve the scientific litera£'®≤cy of practitioners in healthy breeding and ratio₹¥☆nal drug use. At the same time, we should σε>actively carry out the i♥€ntegrity and self-discipline activi£¥φ£ties of veterinary drug production enter£÷≠prises and improve the awareness of qua←£lity responsibility of enterprises. Iπ"t is necessary to stren₽★'gthen the sense of responsibility and missi&∏on, carry out various work ™¥solidly, give full play•σ to the role of the association as γ a bridge and link, effectively serve the mem ☆Ωbers and the industry, and bσ÷ e a good adviser and assistant to the gov φ☆ernment.
